Subject: Changes To AWS Fees For Public IP Addresses Effective: February 1, 2024 Beginning on February 1, 2024, a new pricing policy at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for public IPv4 addresses will go into effect. Under this new policy all public IPv4 addresses provided by AWS will be charged at a rate of $0.005 per hour of use. The $0.005/hour rate equates to $3.72 in a month with 31 days (744 hours). The new rate includes Elastic IP addresses and public addresses assigned by AWS to EC2 instances, Elastic Load Balancers, Global Accelerators, NAT and VPN Gateways. Reliable Penguin passes all AWS costs directly through to each client with a standard markup determined by your contract terms. The new IP address charges will be passed through in the same fashion as other AWS charges with the same markup percentage.
